Inkcaps in Kidwelly

As one approaches the Parc y Bocs roundabout (adjacent to Burn's Shop) on the outskirts of Kidwelly the County Council has left a pile of chipped wood as a result clearing the scrub immediately adjacent to the roundabout on the left verge. This has now been colonised by a troupe of Inkcap fungi. One of the photographs shows the gills "deliquescing" to produce an inky-black liquid from which this group of fungi get their name.
