Ascomycete on bracket

This ascomycete was uncovered under a lot of wet vegetation groeing on an old bracket on an even older horse chestnut stump. Further investigations revealed it on the stump itself.  Philip kindly identified it as eyelash fungus Scutellinia sp. I measured the spores - at 20 x 13microns, they are slightly above the dimensions given for S.scutellata, but all other details appear to be OK. Any further suggestions?

  1. There is a Scutellinia key in our resources section, you could give that a try??

    1. Have checked ornamentation on spores, gone through the key & looked at a couple of websites - definitely S. scutellata.
